Entirely Non-Deriddean Achivement-Centered Rankings of 53-Man Football-Playing Associations Through 14 Weeks
Damn the Cardinals and the 49ers. In my own mind, at least, I've maintained to this point the illusion that the ratings the way I do them could work. As in, moving teams up above another team to which the aforementioned team has already lost is possible only after a great deal of evidence demonstrating that the particular loss should be thrown out. But this week the Cardinals lost for the second time this season to the 49ers. And now we're having to stretch the Titans and Texans, who have both beaten the 49ers, a bit higher than I would have liked, in order to give the Cardinals a rightful slot behind that of the 49ers. This experiment in trying to rank teams consistently based on the victories has been fun but is starting to show cracks.

Entirely Non-Deriddean Achivement-Centered Rankings of 53-Man Football-Playing Associations Through 11 Weeks
These are being posted after the early games in Week 12, because I've only now realized I'd finished the Week 11 rankings. Save for the rankings of Houston and Tennessee, whose Monday Night results I didn't yet have all teams had been considered before Week 12 action began. Knowing what I know now about Houston, after a Week 12 loss to Indy, I can only pledge to have tried not to punish them too much a week in advance.
